The Redbridge Buddhist Cultural Centre (RBCC) is opening its doors to everyone for their annual Pirth Chanting Ceremony. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience a traditional Buddhist ceremony and immerse yourself in the rich culture of the RBCC.
The Vihara devotees host the Traditional Sinhala and Tamil New Year, the most celebrated cultural event of Sri Lankan Sinahalese and Tamil people.
Vesak Observance of Sil will start from early morning, Vesak Lantern Festival will be held after the evening pooja at 6.30pm followed by the Food Stall.
Poson Observance of Sil will start from early morning, Devotional songs (Bhakthi Geetha) will be held after the evening pooja at 6.30pm followed by the Food Stall
Annual Vas Invitation will be held after the Sil programme. Devotees will invite the monks to reside at the temple during the Vas season (Rainy Season).
The sacred event of Annual Katina Ceremony and the offering of the Katina Robe is held every autumn. The morning pooja and the morning parade is held at the temple in the morning from 6.30am.
